Where We Come From<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We’re Forestside Trade & Supply, a small company based in Saitama, Japan. Our designs are shaped by Japanese aesthetics \u2014 understated, intentional, and built to last beyond a season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Japan has a complicated relationship with giving. Unlike in North America or Europe, where charitable donations are deeply woven into everyday culture, giving in Japan has historically been more private, more institutional, less visible. We think that’s starting to change \u2014 and we want to be part of that change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
